With the opening of the NHL season, people are already wondering all sorts of things. Who’s going to win the Stanley Cup? Where will my favorite team place in their division? Of course, nobody knows for sure, but it’s still fun to throw out a few guesses. That being said, here are a few of All Island’s own 2015 NHL season predictions.
As the temperatures rises, the kids will soon come outdoors tossing around baseballs and racing their bicycles up and down the street. It’s the perfect time of year for sports, and All Island Transportation is just as excited as everyone else. So why not enjoy the fresh air and head out to some games? All Island knows where to go for the best spring sports on Long Island. Cheer for our local teams while the kids enjoy the excitement of the games. It’s sure to be thrilling for everyone!
Super Bowl XLIX is sure to be interesting, especially with all the buzz about the Patriot scandal. So you don’t want to be stuck on your couch alone. Instead, surround yourself with friends, beer and great food! All Island Transportation doesn’t want you to miss out on this unofficial holiday! We have all the best Super Bowl bars on Long Island for you to check out. Whether you’re looking for an impressive selection of draught beers, free appetizers and the ultimate viewing experience, it’s all here on this list!
It’s the season for winter sports and the most accessible sport on Long Island is ice skating! Of course there’s snowboarding and skiing, but where are you going to find a mountain on a flat island? Plus, ice skating is great for all ages. Take the kids, go on a date with your significant other or grab some friends and laugh at who falls first. Since the weather hasn’t been so bad lately, you could even check out the outdoor ice skating rinks. There are plenty of ice skating rinks in Nassau County and we know where all the best ones are.
Just because the winter is here, doesn't mean you can’t enjoy what all of Long Island has to offer. There isn’t a lot of charter boat fishing in Nassau County, but the boats in Freeport and Point Lookout happen to be open all year round. Despite the cold temperatures, there’s plenty of fish in the sea!
The Belmont Stakes is a favorite Long Island pastime for many of us. It’s the third (and last) leg of the US Triple Crown, following the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness Stakes. The race’s return to Long Island each June is a time for celebration, and an opportunity to enjoy the beginning of summer.
