Long Island Driving Ranges

Here on Long Island, golf is taken very seriously. Besides, with the amount of public courses and PGA events in the area, it’s no surprise that the sport has taken flight. However, it’s hard to improve your game if you aren’t consistently practicing. Fortunately, there are a ton of incredible Long Island driving ranges where you can work on your driver and tinker with your short game.

Long Island Driving Ranges for Aspiring Local Golfers

Eisenhower Park

From swimming pools and mini golf to ice rinks and playgrounds, Eisenhower Park in East Meadow has a lot to offer. However, it’s also one of the area’s favorite havens for local golfers, with one of the top Long Island driving ranges.

From Friday to Wednesday, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., the Eisenhower Park range is open for business. With 60 spots and over 400 yards to the fence, there’s more than enough opportunities to get the practice that you need.

Not to mention, when you finish up on the range, you can take your skills to the real course as Eisenhower Park is also home to three excellent 18-hole golf courses: Red, White and Blue.

Heartland Golf Park

Brentwood’s Heartland Golf Park is another one of the best Long Island driving ranges. Their huge 92-stall, two-tier range will impress even the most experienced golfers out there. And, if you’re just starting out, they have several professionals on-hand for any kind of lesson that you need.

Their range includes an automatic tee-up system, so you won’t have to waste money on balls that you never hit. Since they use pre-paid cards, whatever you don’t use can be saved for your next visit.

If the range doesn’t present enough golf for you, Heartland Golf Park also has miniature golf and a Par 3 course to boot.
