You better have your costume ready, because Halloween is just a short week away. However, if you still don’t have any plans for this haunted holiday, we have a couple ideas for you. Read along to discover the top Long Island Halloween parties of 2018. They’re sure to be a fright!

The Best Long Island Halloween Parties of 2018

Haunted

Head out to The Space at Westbury Theater on Saturday, October 27 at 10 p.m. for Haunted, Long Island’s biggest Halloween party of 2018. This state-of-the-art facility combines an intimate atmosphere with modern edginess to create one of the area’s hottest new venues.

For this Halloween party, there will be live performances from Lobo, Chriss Vargas and DJ Self. The event will also feature an extensive menu of beers, wines and liquors, as well as many different hookah flavors. Not to mention, $1000 will be awarded to whoever has the best, most creative costume.

The age requirement is 18 and older for ladies and 21 and older for gentlemen. Although you can buy them at the door, advance tickets are $30 and can be purchased here.

Halloween Family Fun Fest

For a family day of tricks and treats, visit the Halloween Family Fun Fest on Saturday, October 27 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. outside the Madison Theatre at Molloy College in Rockville Centre. From pumpkin picking and decorating to mask making and face painting, this place truly has it all.

Make sure your children come dressed up so they can walk in the Halloween parade and enter the costume contest. Here are some of the other fun and exciting activities that you can expect at the Halloween Family Fun Fest:

  • Cupcake decorating
  • Haunted house
  • Obstacle course
  • Exotic petting zoo
  • Magic show
  • Arts and crafts

Halloween Parties

Massapequa Park Halloween Parade

If you have infants or younger children, bring them to Massapequa Park’s 2018 Halloween Parade at Brady Park on Sunday, October 28 at noon. With registration starting at noon and the contest kicking off at 1 p.m., costumes are judged based on creativity, originality and execution.

Prizes will be awarded in the following age groups:

  • Under one year old
  • One to three years old
  • Four to six years old
  • Seven to nine years old

There will also be a grand prize awarded to the top overall costume. Best of all, candy, hot dogs and soda will be served to all participants.
