The 12th annual Great South Bay Music Festival in Patchogue is the largest four-day “America-Themed” music, art and cultural family event on Long Island. If this sounds like something you might be interested in, here’s everything that you need to know.
What can you Expect at the Great South Bay Music Festival?
From July 12 through 15, the Great South Bay Music Festival will feature approximately 60 artists across four stages, showcasing a wide variety of styles from classic rock, jazz and country to folk, funk and zydeco. Here are a few artist you can expect to see at the festival.
On Thursday, the Main Coors Light Stage will feature some of the top names in music today, such as Thrice, The Get Up Kids and The Front Bottoms. Meanwhile, at the Clamshell Bandshell, you can catch performances from GutterLIFE, I IGNITE and King Neptune.
Friday at the Main Coors Stage will include Ooge Wawa and Less than Jake, as well as California bands like the Dirty Heads and Sublime with Rome. You can also catch Callooh Callay, Awaken and US & Floyd at the Jambalaya Stage. Not to mention, Nonstop to Cairo and Gnarly Karma will be playing at the Clamshell Bandshell.
Come out the Main Coors Light Stage on Saturday for Papdosio, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong and Umphreys McGee. Also, Albums We Love and The THE BAND Band will be at the Jambalaya Stage and The Om-en and Quarter House will be at the Clamshell Bandshell.
Last but not least, the Main Coors Light Stage will close out with Electric Hot Tuna and The Dickey Betts Bands. Approaching Troy and Times Like These will light up the Jambalaya Stage. Pete Mancini and Danny Kean will also play the Clamshell Bandshell.

The Great South Bay Music Festival is taking place at Shorefront Park in Patchogue from Thursday, July 12, thru Sunday, July 15. On Thursday and Friday, festival doors will open at 3 p.m., but, on Saturday and Sunday, they will open at 1 p.m.

Since the Great South Bay Music Festival is attended by all ages, there will be a dedicated KidZone that is committed to excellence in educational fun and children’s entertainment.
