Local 4th of July Parties for All- American Fun on LI

It’s almost that time of year again! The time when everyone bleeds red, white and blue and American flags are being flown all over the country. It’s the Fourth of July, a day in which all Americans celebrate the freedom achieved 243 years ago. Here’s a list of 4th of July parties to attend to show your patriotism and celebrate your independence.

Jones Beach Fireworks

Jones Beach Fireworks Show

Starting at 9:30 p.m., Sterling National Bank hosts a fireworks show that people from all over Long Island come to see.

At the Central Mall Beachfront, you can see the show and listen to patriotic music. With a lounge chair and a few towels laid out on the beach, you’ll be sure to have a great time.

Fourth of July Fireworks Cruise

There's no better way to see the Jones Beach Fireworks Show than from the water. To get off the land and onto the sea, all you have to do is hop on the Freedom Charter Boats with the Captain Lou Fleet.

The ship is to set sail at 7 p.m. Tickets are $75 each and comes with a DJ on board, so you can dance the night away. Don’t forget to bring cash, so you can get a few snacks and drinks while on board.

4th of July Fireworks

Captree Fishing Fleet

4th of July parties spent on the water are always a blast. Another way to get on the water is to climb aboard the Captree Fishing Fleet. With 14 participating boats to bring you to the Jones Beach fireworks, you’ll be sure to have a great time.

Departure time is between 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. and return time is around 11:30 p.m. You can bring food and drinks for your party, and it’s suggested that you dress for the weather.  

Long Island Ducks

Long Island Ducks’ Game

Come cheer on Long Island’s own minor league baseball team, The Ducks, and celebrate America. Celebrate with drink specials and a fireworks show right after the game. It will definitely be a Fourth of July to remember.

Game starts at 6:35p.m. and you can buy tickets on the official Long Island Ducks website. Skip the parking lines and hassle by taking an All Island Taxi to the game.
