If you’re looking for a quality Long Island roller skating rink, look no further than United Skates of America in Seaford. This rink, which can comfortably accommodate up to 500 skaters, attracts kids, teens and even adults who are looking to reclaim their roots with a little carefree skating.

Don’t worry if you’re inexperienced because they offer plenty of lessons for all levels, as well as a “Skate Mate” that kids can use to stay safe and skate worry-free. If you’ve had enough skating or you’re just looking for a quick break, United Skates has an arcade with over 20 games to choose from. You can race, shoot hoops and even take down zombies. Also, if you play well enough, you will be rewarded with tickets which you can redeem for one of their many prizes.

Since 1980, Hot Skates, located in Lynbrook, has been a fixture of the Long island indoor roller/inline skating scene. From their spacious Maplewood skating surface to their loaded snack bar and game room, Hot Skates really has it all!


When you visit, the first thing you’ll notice will be the soothing sounds of their award-winning, state-of-the-art multimedia and sound system. They also have theatrical lighting and a professional grade video system that broadcasts all of today’s top sporting events.

Throughout the week, day and night, Hot Skates offers open sessions where you can rent skates, if you don’t already have a pair, for just four dollars.

By the way, Hot Skates is also a popular local concert venue, known for its giant dance floor, professional lighting and innovative sound system.
