NYC Holiday Events

Bryant Park Winter Village

Until January 3, you can head over to Bryant Park to experience the Bank of America Winter Village. The Winter Village is home to over 125 shops that offer perfect gift ideas including jewelry and apparel, home décor and locally-produced foods. The centerpiece of the Winter Village is New York City’s only free-admission ice skating rink. After you’ve spent enough time shopping and skating in the chilly winter air, warm up with some hot food from Celsius, the Winter Village’s rink-side restaurant.

Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree

Though the initial lighting ceremony has already taken place, the 78-foot Norway Spruce in Rockefeller Center is certainly worth checking out. With over 45,000 lights illuminating the ten-ton tree, it’s truly a special sight to behold. Also, there’s an ice-skating rink located right on the same property as the tree, which makes for a scenic skating session.

Radio City Christmas Spectacular

The Radio City Christmas Spectacular celebrate its 88th year this holiday season. The show features a live nativity with real animals and performances by Santa, the Nutcracker and, of course, the world famous Rockettes. The brilliant performance only lasts 90 minutes, so you’ll have time afterwards to experience even more NYC holiday events.

Holiday Train Show at the New York Botanical Garden

The New York Botanical Garden hosts a model train exhibition each holiday season. This year’s display features over 3,000 more square feet of space than last year’s. Viewers will enjoy replicas of famous New York landmarks such as the Brooklyn Bridge, the Statue of Liberty and Rockefeller Center—all created entirely out of plant-based materials. The fun atmosphere and painstakingly detailed designs make the train show one of the most exciting NYC holiday events for both children and adults.

These NYC holiday events are sure to be a great time for people of all ages. If you need transportation to celebrate these events, give your local All Island dispatcher a call or make a reservation online. Happy holidays!
